You talk about proof and the burden of proof and say how science is wrong because it is continually being proven wrong. That however is what makes it so incredibly useful and good for the whole of humanity. The ability to change and adapt a scientific theory as we learn more about it is what makes that so much more preferable. However, when someone clings to one notion (like the ideas behind Christianity and the bible) without having an open mind about what they are learning they become very easy to manipulate. I work with very good people who are so easily influenced by stupid ideas simply because it is in their faith.
