Why trials T-bag?

So for the past 2 hours I've been trying to help people who aren't as good at pvp through trials. It worked out relatively well for the first hour, I did carry quite a bit, but I will admit they did play a part in the victories. However as the night progressed more and more casual team decided it was time for bed, leaving only the sweaties. Eventually it came down to 3 games in a row against the same team consecutively (which I though was supposed to be almost impossible) for us to finally call quits. Throughout the second 2 matches with this team, who quite honestly were quite horrible by most standards (however challenging due to my less skilled team mates), they decided to show their obvious immaturity in T-bagging us whenever a round was lost. This took quite a decent effect on my less skilled teammates, one of which mentioning an extreme of suicide at one stage, even if it was a joke. The action seemed a little over rated seeing as though there really wasn't much need. My question is, why do people feel the need to T-bag players who clearly are far less skilled at destiny pvp? I understand a T-bag if you successfully destroy someone far greater skilled than you, or a friend for a joke; but why bother with the easy wins? What value comes from this at all? Is destiny becoming the next shitty Call of Duty Franchise?
