I am supporting you, me and op had a good conversation earlier about contradictions in the bible that essentially ended with that.
-
Because you couldn't provide any actual contradictions.
-
You cannot state that God is all good if he is only good to his believers, that's like saying i am good to all people that like me but I am not to people that don't like me, therefore, I am not all good. The father and son are not equal if Jesus lost some power to be incarnated in human form.
-
Do you not see that you are still basing that on a couple words from the vastness of the bible? If the context of all good shows it to mean only to those who love him, then it's perfectly valid. But you're also presupposing that God's judgments make him not good. But, that would be wrong. And as far as Jesus both are true. They are not describing the same time and place, therefore, not a contradiction. Jesus is the eternal Son of God, the second member of the Trinity, equal to the Father. But for a time, he set aside some of his power to come as a man and die. Then he ascended to heaven and took back his equality with the Father.
-
So he is not all good because all is in reference to everything and everyone not just believers, this is my point on clarity. Clearly neither of us will change our opinions on this this the fundamental reason we have our beliefs or lack of but you cannot say there are no logical arguments made.

Oh okay lol
