It's hard to take anyone seriously that believes the world was made in seven days. And when we die we all go to a floating castle in the sky!

  • Sabbath day or whatever, you don't work on the day god took a break. Also, if he got tired, does that mean he doesnt have the awe inspiring power we believe he does? oh well, i don't believe in fairy tales anyways

  • You don't know how an omnipotent immortal being views time. Billions of years for us could be days for a god. Time is relative to the amount you have lived. When I was younger I recall 3 hour car trips lasting what felt like all day, trips to the store took forever, a haircut felt like a 2 hour affair. Now that I'm older time goes faster years fade away, it feels like yesterday I was holding my newborn child and he's 4 now

  • Remember, the bible was interpreted by man, so thats how we described it. And the whole looking at the past thing you're talking about, its how memories work, we remember bits and pieces of our lives, the things that we hold dear to our hearts, what did you eat for dinner 334 days ago? nothing. you have 0 idea what your drink was even. if our memories remembered everything we could not live for a very long time before our brains were overloaded with useless crap and we'd be a flesh bag without a conscience anymore

  • True but that doesn't make the theory any less plausible. I disagree about the brain though, have you ever heard of a memory palace? Granted you are correct our brain is essentially a computer we delete useless information but if you use the correct methods you can still store an incredible amount of information up there but I digress. I still think time is relative to what you have currently experienced but you certainly bring up a good point.
