It's an extraordinary claim that there is no supreme being that has set everything in motion and has created everything. I can look at the ground and only see the ground, not the whole earth. Just because I can't see the whole world doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. Just because I can't see God that doesn't mean he doesn't exist. Everything that brought life on this earth to be what it is today was produced by extremely slim chances. Luck can't possibly do that. It had to be set in motion by something. It's an extraordinary claim that there's is no supreme being, just as much as it is an extraordinary claim that there is a supreme being. You need facts if you want to prove that there is no God, but I know that you'll never find complete facts to disprove it.

  • Given enough instances slim chances become mathematically guaranteed.

  • I'm sorry but I don't think you know the definition of the word extraordinary.

Firstly let me compare this to a court hearing. "Innocent until proven guilty" the positive claim is presumed false until it proven beyond reasonable doubt. In this case the claiming for the existence of god would be the positive claim. Secondly "Supreme being" the word supreme is often and regularly associated with extraordinary, therefore the title alone of your God suggests it is unusual, unnatural, not common thought. Thirdly, do you really believe in creationism, cmon man the fact that creationism is banned by law to be taught as science implies it is false and that it's contender (of sorts), evolution is much more appropriate to teach as true. There is overwhelming evidence for evolution and natural selection, 15 minutes of googling Charles Darwin would tell you that.

  • I never said I believe in creationism. I believe in evolution, as do many other Christians. I'm catholic and attend at a Catholic school were evolution is taught. I believe in it because it makes sense, But I believe that God played a role in it. Just because I believe in God doesn't mean that evolution is false. Also "supreme" means superior to all others. "Extraordinary" means unusual or remarkable.

  • "has created everything" sounds a lot like creationism.

  • We use logic to imply that we can see is truly what is happening. So by suggesting that a God exists is going against logic and so you should provide considerable evidence to make up for the lack of logic.
