I'm not sure it has held so strong lately considering recent scientific discovery and the age of information. It held strong for the 1900 years, though. You can read about he Big Bang theory and study it and then do the same with the Bible and make a choice. I did. Of course, studying those areas requires research on many parts of the history of religion and science.
