Actually look at titanfall, remove the titans and the movement mechanics are the exact same. Except a Slight variation to the double jump ( no pilot dash in titanfall)

so basically Bo3 is doing something similar to what EA (gasp he just said the forbidden phrase) did almost three years ago. Im not an EA fanboy, but they have done better than companied like activiaion and infinity ward.
