I'll tackle each of your points one by one. Reason one... You can do better than that, the lack of apostrophe doesn't matter since the point was still conveyed. Now I quite like reason two since it presumes to know my interests. Luckily for me, you're wrong! That opinion passed off as fact has been backed up by experience. What makes it funnier is that here you attempt at covering yourself in case you're wrong with, 'most likely'. That little nugget of doubt which allows you to back away from your statement when it's proven wrong. Also use of first person was just tragic. However just like my 'whys', the point was still conveyed. Lastly reason three! Well here's one thing EDM has which dubstep doesn't. Range. Now you're probably thinking, what does he mean by range? Well luckily for you, I'm going to define the word. When I speak of range in this scenario, and I say this scenario lest you take my words out of context, I speak about sounds over a large spectrum. The ability to mix different sounds without the constraint of a bass drop, to be more precise. Let me conclude by saying that each genre of music will have poor songs. Dubstep was alright for a time, peaking between 2009 and 2011 some decent tracks came out, but most in hindsight, were horrid. While EDM seems to be gaining a wider audience now, resulting in a fair amount of trash being produced. The uninspired and unoriginal songs you spoke of earlier. Just not in those words.
