Not after I heard cap of 200 leg marks per account. Also after re having to level up exotics. That killed my interest in it.

  • The only exotics you have to level up again are the reworked ones for year 2, which are sort of like new weapons anyway, since their perks are different. Also, the 200 legendary marks cap is really no different to what we have now. In fact, it's better, since there is no weekly cap.

  • There isn't a cap on legendary marks. Re watch the stream.

  • Errr, you didn't really understand anything they said in the steam did you?

  • Not to argue but I don't think you have to level your exotics up again, that is only if you buy them off of a blueprint. As far as the "updated" exotics go it is my understanding that they will be substantially different weapons from their original designs and so leveling them again doesn't seem too inappropriate. The 200 cap on legendary marks is true but it is only a wallet cap, not a weekly cap. You can acquire as many as you want but you can only hold up to 200 at a time.

  • It promotes more tower visits. I know you can get as much as you want but it promotes too many tower visits especially when stuff cost more than half the cap.

  • I guess it depends on how fast we can grind marks, if we can cap in an hour or less then it will be no different than returning periodically to turn in bounties and so no change from current play. If it takes 2 or more hours then for most people that's only one visit per play period. Doesn't seem too terrible and they have to have something to keep the tower relevant also we'll have to return to get weapon bounties from the gunsmith and faction quests (maybe).

Guess you're right. But capping things gets on my nerves. Put a cap somewhere far. It annoys me how they like to restrict so much. No point. Also I regularly join in to play a bit. So I would like to save more without having to spend.

I agree that 200 feels low, it is. I like to marathon grind so it will mean putting a stop to my activity to go find something to buy and soon enough that will also probably mean switching to another character which further halts whatever I was doing. Ultimately it is a good system for new players which is who they are trying to get into the game. A 150 mark piece of equipment for a new player will feel like an achievement more than a grind especially with no weekly cap, they'll never know the pains of having to stop and wait for next week to get that one piece of gear they wanted. Maybe the cap will be raised in the future like vault space is increasing, You could and I believe should start a thread on feedback regarding your concerns since its the only way anything can change and maybe they will change it. Your chances are increased by virtue of you stating your argument without vulgarity or crude language so you've got 2 things going for you already. And if you link it I'll bump it at least.

  • You understand me. Unfortunately I don't think feedback will help. Not in the long term. You saw the faq and you saw how they're keeping the glimmer cap. I've seen few requesting that too and many - just like me - getting disagreement with the excuse you can get as much as possible in a week.

  • That's a fair assessment and you're probably correct that they won't change it, sadly it is the only constructive action I can offer at the moment.
