I don't play as much as I'd like, so I'm what you'd call a casual. But even so I've been here since the beta and didn't get the Gally til Xur sold it last fortnight. I really didn't mind though since I've seemed to play along fine without it. Sounds a bit overrated if you ask me.

I don't mind that Xur sold it either (I bought 2 of my gjallahorns from him for convenience). I think what people do mind is that a month after he sells it, it will be unable to progress with other weapons in the game. Thus spawning many insulted day one'er forum posts.
