This type of games don't survive by letting you keep one item for ten years , you need a new goal new weapons and new experiences. Learn to let go and look forward to the new, I have also spent a nice amount of grinding in this game and trust me I am not bitter at all for leaving my fate bringer gjallarhorn etc. behind. We need a new quest a new mission an something new weapons to look forward to. Bungie went balls to the walls with all vanilla weapons and everything else seemed underwhelming after that maybe this is a way to balance things out and start anew. I really enjoy the gunplay in this game that's why I keep on playing and will keep on as long as they give meore interesting things to look towards to. Enjoy TTK and stop worrying about the past.
