What happens when they strike. Does the post vanish? Or does everything you've posted cease?

The post simply awaits "Ninja Justice" so it becomes inaccesable until the Ninjas either let it stay or remove it.

So if my previous reply were to get ninja'd, it would be the only one? My other posts would be unaffected?

Yes. Just your offending post would be affected. You'll also get a warning message from the Ninjas saying that future offences will result in a ban.
