Hi guys my names Redook and I've being following Destiny from the start.
From what I've seen though Bungie have made one MASSIVE mistake in story and gameplay (apart from the long overdue vault space and not telling us about the GIANT MONSTER-SLAYING SWORDS WE CAN WIELD!) they haven't incorporated the massive amount of lore within this vast vast universe.
I mean for instance did you know that:
Gjallarhorn, Truth and Dragons Breath were all made by the same two men?
Cayde-6, the hunter vanguard commander was just meant to be a part time replacement for one of most honoured guardians to ever walk the earth.
Or that Atheon was not an ally of the vex but openly defined the Vex Mind in the Black Garden thought to the Vex's one God.
However all hope is not lost guardians, Destiny may have a bright future; Bungie has hinted at missions involving Osiris, Eris and Cayde-6 giving the impression that Bungie are starting to delve into the extensive lore they've created.
But what do you think guardians can they save Destinys story? Let me know what you think down below.

Edited by KOUMOUDOURI: 8/21/2015 7:51:20 PMThis better fix this story they've created. Did a lot of watching old pre-release gameplay trailers which I took about 12-15 screenshots of things I didn't recognize, things that looked just completely different, or popped up in future DLCs, although they showed it during gameplay trailers. Along with that, the speaker spoke more in the trailers than he did the entire game. So much of this game was obviously cut, I just don't know if they can fix what they destroyed. It looks like to me they're trying to go with their original vision of the game, after they -blam!- it a little bit. Last note: Deej replied to that bungie employee who had spoken out, explaining about what destiny was supposed to be. If it truly were someone 'trolling' as Deej put it, and I were in Deej's shoes, I wouldn't have given it the time of day with a response.

Here's hoping that Bungie can craft a story for Destiny. I'm not sure what their new loremaster will create but after reading so much information from their art book's and supporting information in the grimoire I think Bungie has enough information to make a great story line. With The Taken King there's no better time to start incorporating and overarching story line than now. I think Bungie can save Destiny's story.

In the quests they pulled up I saw interesting things that seemed to do with the lore of the Fallen and Cabal.
