For all the good it will do. When Bungie signed with Activision they basically said it was to make use of Activisions great experience in monetising IPs and ability to generate better ongoing revenue streams. The community-focussed Bungie died quite some time back. No amount of information free updates, protestations of 'community engagement' change this, save for the fanboys and the foolish who can't see through the Bungie PR machine. I don't have a Kenny Everett character's name tattooed on my forehead.
There's nothing wrong with chasing the money. But doing it while trying your utmost to say you're all about the community is wrong, and shows what utter disrespect Bungie has for its fans now. We aren't gamers and fans going on a journey, we're just wallets, to be used and abused as much as possible.
Admitedly, I am part of the problem. TTK pre-ordered as soon as I was able to hahaha. I guess I am the aforementioned Cupid Stunt!
