I agree with you but some people just don't have enough friends to do raids or night falls or they have friends but whom don't play destiny

That's the one good thing about Destiny, if you can make one friend and run with them and their friends you soon find yourself with 10, 20, 50+ friends. Take it from an introvert who ended up making enough friends (from all over the world) that I was running nightfalls and raids over 20 times a week pre HoW. Now alot of us have stopped playing Destiny and picked up other games.
