What's makes anyone certain the new weapons will be better than the old weapons? Besides the damage being increased. What if the new weapons are boring and have crappy perks? Then Bungie will never hear the end of their choices. Bungie has a lot riding on these weapons and better have some awesome weapons coming.

I really hope Bungie has some amazing weapons with amazing perks coming. I would hate to see the fanbase react to a bunch of bland weapons that are worse than what's already in the game.
