Let me ask you this, would you still play this game if the only gun you could get was the Khostav, and you upgraded that for 10 years of the game?
The game loses its point when you stop trying to get better gear, and having overpowered weapons that make everything too easy.

I played Gears of War 1-3 with the Lancer. I never grew tired of sawing Therons in half. I never grew tired of chainsawing imps or Pink Gorillas either. I'd be ok with it if our old exotics can be transformed or the new weapons are fun to use. Each additional DLC has not done this unfortunately (CE weapons aside). One thing that has me curious. If Gjallarhorn or Ice Breaker are to do Year One damage, why nerf them?
