Examples of gender discrimination in the news
I'm doing a report on the aforementioned topic. Though I understand the Flood isn't exactly the greatest place to ask this question, I think it'd be interesting to see what pops up.
So Flood? Have you seen any recent examples of gender discrimination within the news? Not stories [I]on[/I] gender discrimination, but stories where the news agency itself discriminated against women/men? If so, I would greatly appreciate a link to said story.

2 RepliesAny news story that doesn't specifically address how discriminating against women is bad is a clear example of the "male gaze" in our news media. In order to empower women, our news outlets must consistently and regularly tell us that women are victims.
