Ive been noticing an increasing number of useless bastards in this game lately. Strike playlists are the worst. People just standing on spawn until the game ends then they depart. And 9 times outta 10 their the ones who get the best rewards if they stick around til the rewards screen. And then you got the people that are actual moving but just wanna speed run the entire strike and not kill any enemies. Just run past them all to the boss and maybe help take the boss down. Thats cool yall kicked the shithead out before he could get anything. I also saw a player in PoE the other day like this but it was in a 28. I left on the first round. Getting tired of this new trend. I started reporting the inactive players which Im sure does no good. I hate reporting players to.

What's wrong with speed running the strikes playlist exactly? If the rewards are your goal then why not get there as quick as possible? It's not like you haven't done the strikes tons of time. If you want glimmer of engrams then kill the enemies. Nobody is stopping you.

stuff like this is exactly why matchmaking in end-game events is never going to be a thing (or at least it better not be). activity rewards should be tweaked to NOT drop if your outside of the boss room.

Something needs to be done. I dont even want to run strikes with randys anymore because of stuff like this. And I get that PvP players prob dont want to play strikes and they want certain weapons. So a solutions needs to be created.

nah, i dont think its PVPers. they get comparable rewards in crucible (spare change, ill will, ash factory, etc. only real gems in strikes are hopscotch and dry-rot, which is very good for PVE, not PVP). its just afkers and toxic players in general. likely bungie will (or has) issued soft bans for these scum. bungie doesnt make a show of bans, so it seems like nothing gets done. of course this statement is true on the flip-side; we have no way of knowing they do punish such players. really there is a better option already in; form your own fireteams.

Yep. Thats what I did. But sometimes I still have to search with randoms. Which normally leads me to saying the hell with it and going into patrol. Lol

I speed run past the mobs i dont have to kill I've done the strikes a million times no point in staying around and killing then

Tell me about it I was doing strikes and everytime one guy was just spinning in the same place at the very beginning or just standing there dping nothing is really frustrating cuz me and the other guy were doing all the work :(
