I have never really liked cod and people are always saying that it's the most realistic warfare game and I disagree bye saying that I think Battlefield is more realistic with the bullet drop and you have to judge distance when sniping.
If you disagree then explain why
yes I mean the series
And I like don't like how they keep
Making them in the future because they make up so many things that I hate. Like the multi grenade in AW. It's a waste in my opinion. They have so many grenades that they don't need it. I think they should keep it in the preset because they are wasting money on crap that they don't need it's pathetic almost.
EDIT: Wow.... 100 replies!!! Did not expect that
Ninja Edit
Hello OP (or anyone who has decided to open the spoiler and read all of this).
I'm one of the Bungie.Net Ninjas. We may have met before, we may have interacted, you might have heard of us, or you may have no clue as to who we are and what we do. Well, this little note is to explain some of the things we do. One of the major roles we play is to handle the reports that come in whenever a member clicks on the "Report" button, to let us know that there is a post, a topic or a user that either doesn't understand or isn't following the rules that we all agreed to follow when we joined. But that's not the Ninja function that brought on this note.
The reason I am writing this is because I have retagged your thread. Bungie.Net uses hashtags to designate their major forums and to help keep things organized. Your OP (original post) was opened, created or given a hashtag that well, wasn't the best choice. It could have been that you were browsing through the various forum/tags that are available on the site or app, and clicked on "New Topic" while in a forum that didn't "match up" with the subject matter of your OP. Or, you may have thought "this belongs here", when unfortunately, it doesn't.
That's another role of the Bungie.Net Ninjas. We not only try to keep things fun, pleasant and welcoming here by removing rule-breakers, but we also want EVERY good topic to have the best chance to survive, thrive, find the right audience, and get lots of on-topic replies. And so, I have retagged your topic to move it to the forum where it has the best chance of doing that.
I give you my word that I have not altered a single letter or character of your Original Post, just placed this message below it and set the tag to better describe your topic. You may notice that you are unable to edit this post anymore. That is a part of the system, and I apologize for any inconvenience that it may have caused. I've not replied or commented on your OP, since this message would most likely be "off-topic" to your thread and when members see a Ninja or Mentor (who are volunteers from the community) or even a Bungie employee post, they tend to go a little crazy and the disruption to the thread becomes a distraction. I don't want that to happen to your thread. I want it to be in the BEST place possible, to be seen by the largest audience who is looking for this sort of topic, I want it to take root, get replies, grow strong and make these forums a better place.
If you have any questions, you should feel free to PM me. My name is now in the upper right corner of your OP where it says "edited by".
Thanks for your patience, thanks for being a part of this community, thanks for taking the time to read all of this (I hid it in a spoiler so that anyone who clicked couldn't complain about "too long, didn't read"), and thank you in advance for creating your future topics with the forum/tag location in mind.

All cod games are the same. That's why it only takes a year to make.
-
I got into it during MW2. MW3 killed it for me. I've been done since then.
-
Nah, it isn't. Do I like the franchise? Hell no. But they make a shitload of money by releasing one every year, if I were them I'd keep on going until the fans realize that they're getting the same game every year, easy money.
-
Op is fig
-
It isn't that bad.
-
-
Treyarch usually make a decent game
-
Depends, its earlier titles/treyarch games are good but everything else makes me want to die
-
IW's games have been ass since MW2. Treyarch actually makes decent games.
-
Everything after mw2 sucks
-
It is becoming nothing more than a cheap brand mass producing shit. I consider COD dead so that I am still able to respect the original titles before the series got lazy.
-
Fuk Cod, salmon tastes better and is a better product.
-
I only have Ghosts and I like it. It's a good game for goofing around in.
-
CoD is the worst video game series ever
-
Pre mw3 cod was great, but after that it went to shit.
-
well, the series as a whole is completely horrible since it is the same game with better graphics over and over, but i really enjoyed everything up untill Black Ops since the games where different every year untill then
-
It depends on your definition of good game. It definitely created a new sensation and broke sales records. It brought even the most casual players into multiplayer gaming. It is not however a very creative, or innovative game. Critics (besides the paid ones) don't really care, it's not impressive. The stories are forgettable and cliche, and the gameplay isn't anything new compared to other FPSs. It does however have an addictive quality to its multiplayer, one that keeps people coming back. If it's the only game they play all year, they're happy. It's $60 a year. It's sounds widely hated because gamers who spend a lot of time playing all kinds of games, not just the odd shooter, are the vocal group.
-
If we go by the newest cods yes it is
-
Battlefield is more realistic but some people get tired of realism so they play cod
for the record, most of the cods were based of real wars and world events
-
Its not the worst piece of crap in the world but it had its up and downs
-
I'm more of a salmon guy, but eh, to each their own
-
I think it's a solid series. I've had a lot of fun playing bo2. It isn't realistic by any means and quick scoping is a plague, but aside from that it's pretty alright.

Edited by pinkie20202: 8/21/2015 12:44:57 AMObjectively speaking Cod is a good series. The budget is always high, game looks good enough, it usually never has problems at launch, there are usually no bugs, it runs at a good fps, and usually the story is decent. The netcode is shit though. The series isn't meant to be realistic either, it's a fast twitch shooter. And Battlefield isn't as realistic as it gets. Go play Arma if you seriously want a realistic shooter.

Edited by boomerbub: 8/21/2015 12:41:12 AMCan be fun. But CoD Bo3 is copying a lot of video games. After watching some gameplay i instantly thought "Destiny, Titanfall, Farcry"
-
It's not a bad game. It's just repetitive. Run around, shoot people. Repeat Much wow, such amaze
-
People who constantly bash CoD are just about as bad as the people who constantly buy it.
