I have never really liked cod and people are always saying that it's the most realistic warfare game and I disagree bye saying that I think Battlefield is more realistic with the bullet drop and you have to judge distance when sniping.
If you disagree then explain why
yes I mean the series
And I like don't like how they keep
Making them in the future because they make up so many things that I hate. Like the multi grenade in AW. It's a waste in my opinion. They have so many grenades that they don't need it. I think they should keep it in the preset because they are wasting money on crap that they don't need it's pathetic almost.
EDIT: Wow.... 100 replies!!! Did not expect that
Hello OP (or anyone who has decided to open the spoiler and read all of this).
I'm one of the Bungie.Net Ninjas. We may have met before, we may have interacted, you might have heard of us, or you may have no clue as to who we are and what we do. Well, this little note is to explain some of the things we do. One of the major roles we play is to handle the reports that come in whenever a member clicks on the "Report" button, to let us know that there is a post, a topic or a user that either doesn't understand or isn't following the rules that we all agreed to follow when we joined. But that's not the Ninja function that brought on this note.
The reason I am writing this is because I have retagged your thread. Bungie.Net uses hashtags to designate their major forums and to help keep things organized. Your OP (original post) was opened, created or given a hashtag that well, wasn't the best choice. It could have been that you were browsing through the various forum/tags that are available on the site or app, and clicked on "New Topic" while in a forum that didn't "match up" with the subject matter of your OP. Or, you may have thought "this belongs here", when unfortunately, it doesn't.
That's another role of the Bungie.Net Ninjas. We not only try to keep things fun, pleasant and welcoming here by removing rule-breakers, but we also want EVERY good topic to have the best chance to survive, thrive, find the right audience, and get lots of on-topic replies. And so, I have retagged your topic to move it to the forum where it has the best chance of doing that.
I give you my word that I have not altered a single letter or character of your Original Post, just placed this message below it and set the tag to better describe your topic. You may notice that you are unable to edit this post anymore. That is a part of the system, and I apologize for any inconvenience that it may have caused. I've not replied or commented on your OP, since this message would most likely be "off-topic" to your thread and when members see a Ninja or Mentor (who are volunteers from the community) or even a Bungie employee post, they tend to go a little crazy and the disruption to the thread becomes a distraction. I don't want that to happen to your thread. I want it to be in the BEST place possible, to be seen by the largest audience who is looking for this sort of topic, I want it to take root, get replies, grow strong and make these forums a better place.
If you have any questions, you should feel free to PM me. My name is now in the upper right corner of your OP where it says "edited by".
Thanks for your patience, thanks for being a part of this community, thanks for taking the time to read all of this (I hid it in a spoiler so that anyone who clicked couldn't complain about "too long, didn't read"), and thank you in advance for creating your future topics with the forum/tag location in mind.

CoD is the Michael Bay of FPS games. It play it when I want trashy action with lots of explosions. I do want that sometimes, so it's not bad if it fills that niche.
-
The only reason I would play cod is that when my buddies come over we can play split screen
-
Not worst, but one of the most generic. The actual shooting mechanics are great!
-
Honestly I haven't played a CoD game since Blops2 but if anything Call of duty is over hates I mean everywhere you go on game forums there's always CoD, hate never understood why don't like the game just don't talk about it.
-
I wouldn't say its the worst but not the best imo. I've played the game and never really like anything about it.
-
I hate CoD for objective reason. Shit net coding Every map has almost the same layout Play style does not change depending on map MW2 and onward it always has those few guns that for some odd reasons are better than the rest Weapons stats making zero sense. ie: in MW3 the Scar L & M4A1 have different damages even though they use the exact same ammo type. In BO2 the Scorpion does more damage than the Vector even though the Vector uses a higher caliber round.
-
Arma is the most realistic
-
A lot of the games people are saying are "the worst games ever" are very often incredibly superior to tons of other really, genuinely terrible games. Destiny is like Fallout compared to games like ET for Atari. CoD AW is Battlefront when placed alongside Big Rigs: Off the Road Racing. There are some games that are actually, very, very bad games.

Edited by a clumsy scrub: 9/3/2015 4:17:18 AMI think its a great series thats in a rough patch. Theyre like charlie sheen. Only time will tell if they get better.
-
Its not too bad as the cod 4 storyline was fun and zombies was a fun aspect. Its not the best but it is enjoyable.
-
Battlefield is more realistic, but who wants it to be realistic? We want fun. If u want realistic shit go out a become a soldier.
lol JK that is a bit retarded #satire. Play what you like.
Literally anyone will jump on the hate train these days and they will not have a single original coherent thought. CoD is good, it is a fast paced run and gun type shooter. You don't like it? Then don't play it. CoD is good and the only ones that were not are Ghosts and AW and a big majority will agree on that. Most of the people that hate CoD literally played 1 or 2 games, lost, went negative and said the game sucked because they did horrible. On BO1 I used to average over 100 kills a game for dom and demo and over 40-50 on TDM. SnD it would be basically a 1v6. In BO3 get over 30 kills game and always go double positive. I am good at the game and have fun because of it. It is very simple. If you have terrible aim and slow reflexes you will suck and not like the game. If you have good aim and great reflexes then you will enjoy it. This isn'y destiny where you equip a gun and go positive because of it.
-
Anything past waw yes because they tried to implement "the future" seriously like if they made another ww2 or cod 4 storyline it would be pretty incredible instead of Exo suits or genetically engineered soldiers Just a soldier with his gun
-
Its good for playing 1-2 matches when im bored. Quick gameplay and thats about it, i only buy them used on amazon. Not worth nearly $60, and i never buy the dlc.
-
Post cod 4 yes
-
I haven't bought a cod game since 2010. Though it may be one of the worst, it definitely isn't the worst.
-
Not the worst game ever. Their community is the worst community, however
-
This post is a bit of an exaggeration
-
It has sales figures that are huge. Everybody claims to hate it then buys it every year.
-
neither CoD nor Battlefield are TRULY realistic. sure, CoD has quickscopers and run-and-gunners, while battlefield lets you revive teammates who have been shot in the head with a .50 cal using Defibrillators. I've played both, and neither really tickled my fancy. the general consensus for CoD is that it's "golden age" was WAW, MW2 and Black Ops, everything after that is considered stale. the one for battlefield is that Bad Company 2 was the Golden age, and the ones after were "meh" as for military games being set in the future, I agree it's a bit boring now. hopefully with Mad Max and Fallout 4, we might see Post-Apocalyptic themes become the new head genre.

Edited by Poryelmo: 8/29/2015 10:54:56 AMIt's obviously not the worst game series ever, there are many series worse than CoD but I just think they're criticizing CoD for having a fan base of a lot of squeakers. I myself don't like CoD repetitive, yearly release games,(That means the minimal effort into the games) and gunplay(It's usually who ever sees the person first dies unless you're in like FaZe clan or some crazy crap like that) but I don't necessarily think it's the worst game series ever.
-
I think the people that argue realism in video games have probably never been in an actual firefight.
-
Sad self bump
-
> looks to see if official cod fanboy "blue angel" has replied to this thread >sees reply >Raughs
-
The only reason I disagree is because treyarchs zombies game mode is one of my favorite things to play. Other then that it's just another fps.
-
eh, it's okay. story could be a little better but it's ok
