No sir, that's not how percentages work. .5 X 100 is 50, so now your suppose to add 50 to the original number.
If something is 50% more than the original price than it doesn't make the price go down. That's 50% off. You don't understand how percentages work so I'm not going to try to continue explain. It's a 50% increase. 100% increase would be double
