It is getting nerfed so people won't finish the new end game content in the Taken King Expansion fast. Now that almost everyone has the Gjallahorn, without the Nerf, we will breeze through the TTK fast and then we will move on to other games like Black ops3 or Halo 5 just to name a few
They want us to stay on Destiny!
