Isn't playing any game just a big waste of time for the purpose of entertainment? Have you not been entertained? I'm looking at TTK as basically destiny 2 with the ability to port your character from destiny 1. Were you pissed at any sequel game that came out where you couldn't port progress from the prequel? I've never been, I take each one as a new adventure. You start over, waste a bunch more time, hopefully have been entertained, then move on to the next thing.

  •
I'm looking at TTK as basically destiny 2
TTK is, in no way, 'Destiny 2.' TTK is DLC for Destiny 1. I get that you view it that way, but you're objectively wrong on this. :P There will be an actual sequel to Destiny, in the future, yes. And, like you said, Bungie has very specifically stated that our characters will transfer to future games... but if our gear is capped, that entire feature is absolutely pointless.

I don't see why people insist on giving their own personal disagreements here. You word your comment in a way that sounds as if just because you feel that way that others should do so as well. Clearly, others do not share your same reasoning on the matter. Personally? Yes, if I am playing a game that I know is going to be part of an ongoing series I would be highly pissed of I couldn't transfer my character/progress. That right there proves there is a difference in our values. *Edited for better word use*

  • Lol, your giant original post that you probably spent hours crafting is one big personal opinion. Now, you lessen your credibility by posting an opinion to a community site and expecting no one to give their opinion on your opinion. Is it your opinion that your opinion is fact and that every aspect of your grievance be addressed while the rest of the community sits on their hands and let's you run the show? I love cosmo's response. Typical non-answer to your massive post that took him 5 seconds to write, but keep on writing, bungie is hard at work addressing all your concerns. I, on the other hand, will just go on playing the damn game and wasting my time on it until it's no longer entertaining to me or something better comes along. Oh, I'll also be on the forums trolling :)

  • Hours? O_o It took all of 20 minutes, roughly. Give or take a few, the next episode of the Legend of Korra had started when I began and I finished before it was over. Also, I don't remember at all in my post asking for your opinion. I'm fairly certain I was addressing Bungie, as I always do. This is Feedback for them, not feedback for all. I always find it rather odd how some will actually make feedback posts regarding the community itself because that is essentially off-topic, said posts don't even relate to the game anymore at that point. You are not nearly as important enough as you think yourself to be to sit there and, for whatever reason, think it to be your job to apparently go around and try to stop others from supposedly "running the show" as you put it. As if a single post is doing that. You sound more like you're just out for attention, or are jealous for some odd reason when you don't need to be. Likewise, the notion that you think you disagreeing with a post will somehow discredit said post is just as ill conceived. You have no actual ability to hurt the post or censor it and its rare for people on the whole to bother reading through the comments of a post. You might get a few responses here or there, but on the whole no one actually cares, only what is written in the OP itself. Mainly because, you only get a notification if someone responds to your post or comment. Meanwhile, each time you say something here, you are bumping said post meaning you're doing it more good than bad. Its the reason I never understood the logic of trolls in a setup like this, their trolling will only bring more attention to what a person has posted. That is generally why the majority of comments are from those who agree with what the OP is saying. If I don't agree with a post, I don't comment on it. Simple as that. If you share the same opinion as the poster? Then yeah, totally give your opinion too. Or if you want to talk to the poster, go for it. I mean, I'm talking to you now because you responded. You can disagree with me and give your own opinion, if you want, but that is only for the sake of speaking to me. Its not going to influence Bungie or the vast majority of everyone else who sees said post, though.

  • Haha, another chunk of time wasted replying to my troll post! Let's see if you can refrain from it again. I'm guessing you can't. You sound like one of those nerds that believes he is always right and everyone else is wrong. Go on, I dare you to ignore this, but I know you won't. Either way I win.
