Cobra Kye was my call sign in Afghanistan.
Cobra Kye is from the karate kid. There is a line cobra Kye never dies so my spotter and I decided on that. The number six is usually reserved for commanders in an infantry company. As a joke I adopted the 6 because my spotter was 7, which is used for the second in command. So when I called my spotter on the radio or anything it sounded like I out ranked him, which I didnt.
