In pve gunslinger can provide more offensive support from a distance.
Like taking out mobs or one shot a captain (nighthawk)
Blade dancer is only useful for the invisibility perk in pve
But if you are good you don't need invisibility to revive team mates.
[spoiler]only play with blade dancer if you're playing with complete idiots who die a lot [/spoiler]

Golden gun does little damage and arc blade can take out many enimies

Just keep playing and you'll see in end game content choosing blade dancer isn't the best choice unless your fireteam suck and die near the boss. Gunslinger GG does more damage than arc blade. And drops more orbs for your fireteam. The only thing good for BD is the invisibility perk.
