I've never seen a comment from Bungie why they put it in the grimoire stack so early. Maybe to tease the world? Build the hype for the gun? I really don't know.

Only one person in the world has this weapon, it was made and given to a termanilly I'll guardian who enjoys playing destiny in his final years, Bungie gave it to him and only him, it is out there just no obtainable to us regulars yet
