5.) Lake Assal – Djibouti
Outside the frozen Antarctica, one of the saltiest lake is Lake Assal, a crater lake located in Djibouti. The lake lies 155 m below sea level making it the lowest point on land in Africa and the second lowest land depression on Earth next to the Dead Sea. It has 34.8% salt concentration which is 1.1% higher than the Dead Sea.
4.) Garabogazkol Aylagy – Turkmenistan
The Garabogazkol Aylagy is a very salty bay whose name means ‘mighty strait lagoon’ located in Turkmenistan. It has a salinity of about 35% while Caspian Sea has only 1.2%.
3.) Lake Vanda – Antarctica
Another very salty lake found in Antarctica is Lake Vanda. This 5 km long and 69 m deep lake is just 9 km away from Don Juan Pond. The deeper waters of the lake don’t mix with the shallower waters and no fish species live on this peculiar lake.
2.) Don Juan Pond – Antarctica
Lakes found in Antarctica are said to be the saltiest in the world and Don Juan Pond is one of these lakes. It is a small and very shallow hypersaline lake located in Victoria Land. This lake is regarded as the “saltiest body of water on earth” with a salinity level of over 40%. It’s 18 times the ocean’s salinity and has greater salinity than the Dead Sea and Lake Assal. In fact, the lake has no ice cover and doesn’t freeze even in winter indicating a high degree of salinity. It is also called Lake Don Juan.
1.) Bungie.net Destiny Forums - Internet
There are a lot of websites around the internet with high levels of salinity, although not directly related to bodies of water in any way. Originally the Destiny forums was a moderately salty area, with a salt concentration of around 20%. In mid-August 2015, on Friday the 14th at 2 AM PST, the salt concentration of the Destiny forums started rising dramatically to around 35%. The users of the website blamed the shocking sale of Gjallarhorn from Xûr for the exponential increase of saltiness. Only 1 hour later after the Agent's arrival to the Tower , the salt concentration levels of the Destiny Forums had surged to around 70% as the news spread like a wildfire in the community. This is an increase of roughly 100%, making it the saltiest place on Earth currently. If the Destiny Forums was an ocean, even an Elephant wouldn't be able to touch the bottom of it due to the high levels of saltiness.

I'm pretty salty about the ghorn sale. It took me until 2945 grimoir to get that sob. I get it, and it's cool that everyone will get to experience the op glory of this weapon before it gets nerfed, but still... those who just buy it are missing out on all the bitter frustration and sadness of hoping to get and then not, again and again and again and again - love that grind:D also, I got my third ghorn in crucible today... after buying a third ghorn from xur... wtf
