I got lucky and it dropped for me after beating Crota on hard mode. It's obviously not "earned" since it's random. I have multiple friends with hundreds of hours in this game and never got the Gjallarhorn. Now they can buy it and I'm happy for them. It doesn't devalue the weapon by any means IMO.

Again, another worthy story. I understand the rarity of it makes it nice, but does that change any of your memories running with it? I'm willing to bet no one can genuinely say that. Memories are memories. Keep them. Big gratz on your teammates being able to get it!
