Weekly Heroic Strike- 9 coins if you do it on the highest difficulty rating, 3 or 6 if you only do it on the lower ones. If you have two max level characters, the grind is done. Prison of Elders (level 28)- Here's a post detailing one person's experience with getting strange coins from the small chests in prison of elders. There is a golden chest on Mars that gives you a strange coin. Just search youtube or google for golden chests, and you will find a guide to those chests. Hope that was helpful!
