What happened to large maps?

What happened to large sized maps? Like the one on moon? Or the one from the TDB on earth? I haven't seen them in so long that I can't even remember their names! I'm a scout rifle user and I hate playing crucible because all of the maps that we rotate through are all CQB maps. They are all catered to hunters and warlocks with blink and shot guns. It's -blam!-ing annoying that only a small group of CQB players gets catered to. I know I'm not the only player out there that feels this way. I remember playing on those large maps and destroying people with my vanilla destiny vanguard scout rifle. I'm not saying make all of the maps big but add the big maps back into the rotation. I'm tired of being forced to use hand cannons and pulse rifles. Edit 1: if they were to bring back these large maps back into regular crucible it would significantly reduce the use of thorn and TLW and other heavily used weapons. It would add variety and wouldn't force you to use only two types of weapons to do well.

  • I think that the big maps should be in the rotation rather then having to wait like 2 weak for combined arms.

They put them in the combined arms playlist. Bastion, first light, and skywatch are offered. It's extremely fun to play when they offer it. Here I got 49kills and was trolling with Gjallarhorn. I get over 25 kills and relentless just using rockets. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rZ_DTGopC58

      • Size of the map doesn't make it scout-rifle friendly. You could make a huge map and it all be CQB. Wanna use scouts? Get out in the open or find sightlines. Take people by surprise.
