Why do men treat women gamers bad? I legit want true honesty here (open up)
Hey there, I'm a gamer from Texas.
I have a legit question I really want to know. After encountering so many rude remarks flirting, or even observing fellow female gamers yelled at/cat called...I really wanna know why a lot if you Lads don't like women? There would be times nothing would happen and yelling name calling and harassment would arise. Almost all of the times the lady gamer werent doing anything and the male would pick at her. Either being sexual or really aggressive. I noticed male gamers would get super mad when she would try to defend herself as if she had no right to defend herself. Then there are the few sweet guys that are super quiet guys. Only 1% percent out of 99 percent. Just tell me a simple sentence of what your attitude towards women is, in the gaming community. Is it Jealousy? Nervousness? No contact with women? Or you just don't like women gaming? Thanks.[spoiler]im watching he honest ok....[/spoiler]

It's mostly the vocal ones. Respectful people tend to keep to themselves. The terrible people are always the ones to receive the most attention, mainly because they demand it. Not to mention that girl gamers are rare in Destiny and with how toxic the vocal part of this community is I can see why people pick on girls. I would apologize for these people but I have no responsibility for them.

Because many gamers are no-lifers. They don't have much of a social-life outside of their gaming friends. So when they meet a girl gamer, it's probably the first girl they've ever talked to, and since they watch so much porn because they can't get laid, they think all girls look like pornstars. So they want to flirt with any girl they meet while gaming.

However it's more to those who I know lol but kids are different story lol without being horrible it's more the high pitched voices that annoys me nothing they've done or anything it's just like ah children moaning just no please stop lol they are good people I guess it's more my ears lol

Personally I will be honest, my girlfriend is a gamer. I find it awesome because you can share that thing you love with someone else as well so it's like letting someone into that little virtual bubble. I am however respectful of female gamers in that respect because it's how you play not what gender you are. I think it goes back to gender stereotypes. However I am the kind of person to joke around and say that stuff. Only difference is I can understand to some it's offensive. This is why I don't go too far with it and hey if they have a crack at me or males and it's funny damn straight, credit where it's due and the like. I just think open mindedness from all parties needs to be considered. I know none of this stuff is true, most females know that they don't belong in a kitchen. However if they are offended then yes it is right to stop at that point. Key points, consideration for others, as well as understanding that there's a major difference from those who actually believe those views and those who are just literally playing around and expect it back :) it's playful insults I'm sure everyone has done it. But that's my honest view on the situation. So all is all girl gamers; go for it respect to you keep gaming. Male gamers (for those it's relevant to) know the limits it's a fine line between playfulness and having a laugh and just down right putting someone down :)

I don't even play with any girls (besides my gf when we split screen) so I have no experience. However it does hurt me that people still look past our stupid names and characters in games and target age, race, and gender. Like come on its a game. If you don't like someone mute them. If they harass you then you report them. Games are meant to be fun for all who play them. Not another outlet of hate and discrimination.

These white iPhone wielding, Instagram idiots who post things like them wearing big glasses, holding a controller or some shit. They play games, but they -blam!-ing suck and are just doing it so they can act like a "geek".. I guess? Twitch is a perfect example. They get so much money from donations because they flaunt they're tits all throughout the stream... Of course there will always be hate towards everyone in the gaming world, especially Arab people. Arab people can't say three words without being called a terrorist or some kind of racial slur. I personally don't give a shit about anyone I play with...

Thats bloody stupid. Pardon my language, I'm as well frustrated with this matter. But not sure if you know but a ton of blokes were being sexist to Dames of Destiny while they were streaming (i think one of them cried) and got banned for this reason.

I wouldn't call them women because they are more like girls. A lot of them use gaming and video games to get attention. From my personal experience with them a lot of them play video games for God knows why, and not because they want to play video games (it's like they do it but they don't give a shit about it)

I don't know really. I have maybe played with one or two girls, that I heard so there could've been more just silent. Outing yourself as a GAMER or -blam!-ing worse GAMER GIRL is just a big red target on you for people to shit on. I mean just playing the game and thats it.
