So someone write some BS back story on destiny like the books do for halo, making the Guardian absolutely op, then you can compare apples to apples, until then it's game play vs game play and guardians win every time.

Most halo players even go as far as to say Reach was non canon as it seems to clash with the novel, "Fall of Reach". However, the two can be fit together.

Also facts based on fictional stories with no standardizing is what makes this as lame as a superman vs goku arguement or a Muhammad vs Jesus battle.

I enjoyed the halo games. The whole fan fic jerk off session of the stories is what ruined that story. When Chief was just a bad ass spartan the story was good, the whole halo mythos is terrabad story telling.

Alright, fair enough. Just that it's canon. But I definitely prefer the games too. Especially the amount of replayability they have.
