Because its illegal
[spoiler]It was once illegal for black kids to step foot in a white school, the founding fathers have said that we have a moral obligation to break unjust laws.[/spoiler]
Because its bad for you
[spoiler]GMO food, microwaves, artificial anything, soda, tobacco, and many many more things are much worse for you[/spoiler]
Because it makes you lazy
[spoiler]Laziness isn't an uncontrollable force that is impossible to break, I know many people that smoke and do some cleaning, or go on a run[/spoiler]
Because it will be easier for kids to get
[spoiler]I have heard far too many times from friends of friends that they have a 12 year old dealer. If a 12 year old will deal to people in their 20s, I can assure you that they will to people in middle school. This isnt an uncommon either. Legilization would get it out of their hands and into 21+ dispensaries[/spoiler]

We made it to the moon 50 years ago and you honestly think that we dont have a way to tell how high someone is? Theres the cotton swab, which detects it withing 16 or so hours, thats good enough for now[/spoiler]
It will boost sales for Mexican drug cartels
[spoiler]Quite the opposite actually. Dispensaries have laws and regulations to follow, and they either buy their weed from a local grower or will grow their own. It will eventually put the cartels out of business. [/spoiler]

Like for instance, you get pulled over while driving under the influence of weed, they need to be able to detect it, though it would probably be obvious to a cop if someone is too stoned to be driving. Driving drunk is just as, if not worse than driving high, so I've always thought that was a terrible excuse to use against weed anyways.

It's not a drug,it's a plant...of you happen to smoke it, there are some side effects...you can take 4 melitonine (herbal sleep,aid) and stay awake and have a similar feeling but take,too many your dead...
