The Taken King is Disc Locked Content
The Taken King is supposedly a "whole new game" right? So how long did it take Scumgie to make destiny? From what i have read on multiple different sites, about 5 YEARS. Yet now, in a mere fraction of the time, they have "come out" with the taken king? [b][u]NO[/u][/b]. The taken king is nothing more than year one disc locked content. They broke the game apart and watered it down so they can sell it in tiny chunks and make more money off of it. Now that people are bored of the "original" game, the next bit of content which has been around since the beginning, and probably barely even tweaked to be made better is being released. [b]SCUMGIE IS STEALING YOUR MONEY[/b]. Unfortunately so many people are blind to this that they are throwing their money at scumgie before the "new" content has even been dropped. For those of you that have, i hope the game is everything you hoped it would be and are happy with your purchase. For those of you intelligent enough to see you are being taken for fools and cheated out of your time and money, i suggest a bit of a boycott is in order. We are the players. We are the money that funds scumgie to continue cheating us out of more money. Break the cycle, rise above, and say enough is enough. Show them you will not be played, cheated, and stolen from. If you agree, give this a bump. If you have any negative feedback, feel free to gtfo of my post and show your lack of intelligence elsewhere.
Ps: Destiny and Scumgie free for about 2 weeks now.

One, here is a tinfoil hat. Two, actually this is what the Studio has been hard at work this entire time along with working on updates. We saw in the development stage that terrain making for them is rather easy. Also various updates and changes are because of our feedback. Whole new game as in the entire year of feedback is what has driven all of these changes so it's gonna really feel like 2.0 Three, so what if it is all remade environments? That's easy for them to make they showed. That's all we can say pre exists on the disc. Also this is an entirely new type of game. One that doesn't simply after release but you keep playing it like an MMO but it plays like a shooter, and it all feels natural with all the subclass abilities and weapon perks to be awesome in various ways. In the beging that's what Destiny was hailed for. But soon it became apparent that the content was lack luster, repetive, a grind. And do they have listened and worked to try and give us what they want. The scripts may have been written and levels made but Bungie decided to wait to see what we think then alter what the next part of the game as DLC to better meet our wants. TDB somewhat but still very short of correcting various issues, house of wolves did better on some aspects on meeting our wants but still fell in areas of loot or engaging content. This DLC is so big and costly because they trying to reducible many aspects if the game, whole new year of Loot. I'll keep my Saterine Rapier it's the first and one of very few Legendary Weapons I've actually Fully upgraded. I found why I adore this game while using that weapon. I think nearly every other Legendary will go. There's a new set of loot to obtain and from the sounds of it it'll work in ways were not used to and might turn out to be more awesome. I can't wait and see.

3 RepliesFirst 2 dlcs were disc locked. I have yet to see players somehow entering the dreadnought through some sort of glitch.

I'll never understand why people think the DLCs are on the disc when they download them before the release.

Never buy a DLC again. Every year, Bungie will release a year YY uber combo pack including everything to date. Just buy that and get a heck of a discount.

I think of it as content added to the original game to reduce download time.

You act like this is a surprise, not only is this common, but everyone is going to buy it regardless of what you think. Bdobbinsftw, who is famous, said not to buy dlc's as well, and guess what, everyone bought it anyway cuz it makes the game better.

2 RepliesOn a side note, after stating weapons such as the thorn, tlw, gally etc are getting nerfed, Xur sells the last word, best pvp weapon, a few days before the nerfing. If this isnt bungie's way of saying "f*ck you players!" then idk what is lol

It is disc locked content, disc locked doesnt have to be on disc, it merely means withheld until a later time, to be paid for again, everything points to this fact. The shit in the very beginning they were showing us about ship combat, cabal and vex crap going on in ttk, is all of their new promo videos. Everything everyone thought destiny would be is slowly being pissed out drop by drop for 20-80 bucks a pop

It's actually not disc locked content, and the reason this game took five years is due to MANY financial struggles, as well as, losing key writers which required an entire script rewrite. HoW and TDB are the only two dlc's that existed on disc
