It's not about NOT buying it.. It's about waiting until the hype train has passed and some legit reviews are floating about.. By those whom are not financially dependant upon the game like planetdestiny/dattodoesdestiny/moreconsole and the likes of the other major review sites that seem to be corporate shills. See if it's worth you're $40 upgrade..
