Fully understand your point and in many ways I agree. The new HoW weapons just weren't exciting enough or carried enough interest to drag us from our old favourites. However, think of it this way. If Bungie offered us one weapon to upgrade, what would you pick? My friend and I were discussing this last night and we couldn't decide. Mainly because over time you naturally change to different weapons and the rest stay in your vault. I personally would be happy with just a second page of vault space and a cap on the year one weapons. That way I could bring out that weapon I have fond memories of earning and use it in crucible, but continue to collect new weapons in year two on the second page.

oh.. just one weapon upgrade... I'd pick the hygiea noblesse... but I'd be torn cause it doesn't have any elemental damage.. so I'd be forced to go with either fatebringer or vision of confluence. And I'm sure they'll be doing something of the sorts... like they're not gonna just "delete" your older weapons.. but I'm sure they'll be giving the users a ton of incentives to move on to the new weapons. As much shit as I give bungie for being cash cows for activision with destiny.. this game really has awesome shooting mechanics.. and i'm sure you'll have some other drug to wean you off your addiction to fatebringer lol.
