I don't support it, nor do I support it.
If you smoke, that's cool. Getting high must be great.
However, much like beer and cigarettes, it is a waste of money, for lack of a better phrase.
And some who defend it tell others that it is harmless, which may be partially true, but, [i]once again[/i], much like alcohol or cigarettes, can cause injury or death.
The plant itself may not be harmful, but the inhalation or the mental side-effects are.
So if it is legalized, maybe the government should create new laws.

The THC compound is not hurtful. Any type of smoke, however, is.

If someone enjoys something it's not a waste of time. Same way most old people think video games are stupid but most young people enjoy them. If you're having fun that's all that matters. I don't smoke but that's my perspective

Agreed it is a waste of money & yes I'm sure there have been injuries aplenty but never been a direct recorded death from cannabis ;)

Then I guess the alcohol argument gets taken down a notch. Yes, alcohol can fry your liver. But the argument is always about all the car accidents and whatnot. In that sense, it becomes closer to a tie. An excessive pot smoker will fry his lungs from the tar just as an alcoholic will fry his liver.

Except you can overdose on alcohol, but not on pot. Also, hemp can be used to make hemp seed foods, hemp oil, wax, resin, rope, cloth, pulp, paper, and fuel. Not to mention it is used medicinally to treat seizures, ptsd, anorexia and anxiety.

Err I know you Americans are fat but to "run" over them & kill them damn!! Ohh you mean in a car! So that would be a coroners verdict of death by motor vehicle not cannabis! ;)

Cool, then through out all the arguments frequently used regarding alcohol since most refer to accidents not destroyed livers.
