It's a generic shooter to me. Nothing special about it. I find the multiplayer is vastly overrated, and it's a boring game to play for me.

Revolutionized gaming back in 2001. That's the only "special" thing about it, though many people are quite fond of it. Overrated, yeah, in some ways.

I honestly don't see how it revolutionized anything. It didn't really bring anything new to the table. Online death match was started by id Softwares DooM. Goldeneye 64 had dual wield before halo was even a thought. Wolfenstein created the fps genre... halos done nothing really. Just another generic fps that got lucky in being the guinea pig for Xbox lives launch. Lol
