It means we won't have forever 29s or forever 31s. Your level won't be cock blocked due to poor RNG. Which I'm okay with.

Agreed i was a forever 29, still waiting for boots to drop.

I've heard that they've made it where the game will actually look at what you currently have (guns and gear) and will up the chances of dropping things that you actually need. If they can do that, then great. There's no reason a day one player with 1500 hours just dropped their first Gjallarhorn. I'm hopeful for good things from TTK. I guess time will tell.

I disagree with your RNG comment (coming from someone who played for 1500 hours before finally dropping a Gjallarhorn). All one has to do is complete a level 32 POE four weeks in a row, buy the gear from Variks, and guaranteed to be level 34. I'm not opposed to their new system. I'm just saying that there's really no valid excuse not to reach the max character level.

Notice how both levels are for vanilla destiny and TDB. Both became frustrating trying to get that one piece to become max lvl

I was talking about vannila and TDB. Notice how I didn't mention forever 33. I finally got the boots to drop in VoG the night before TDB dropped. I finally got the Crota chest plate to drop 2 months after TDB came out. It sucked XD Plz no hate?

Nah, no hate here. I hear ya. For Atheon, I only made level 30 on 2 of 3 characters because I couldn't drop boots. I feel they did a much better job on Crota though and was able to get all 3 character to 32 fairly quickly. Either that or maybe I was just lucky. Anyways, I'm excited for a new way to level up. Hopefully it works out .
