Thoughts on losing light levels and going to 20?
I know some of you arent smart enough to have spotted this implication, but basically, light levels are being done away with, and normal leveling will resume, this means, you will lose that 34, and start again at twenty when the new dlc releases.
So whats your reaction to that, and the fact all that hard work for gear to level up islost?
Im suspecting that is your face above considering you just figured it out.

I'm really excited actually. I'm gonna start saving really easy bounties (I.e. the kell slayer on the moon) when it gets closer to launch date

Give me XP leveling and complimentary and situational gear for multiple scenarios. I don't like using the same shit. I'm pumped. The trailer got me all false hyped up. The queens brother going kamikaze in that shit got me pumped up! Screw you every legendary I own! I wanty me new things! Shut up and take my money!

I preferred the regular EXP system. It reminded me a lot of borderlands which is a big reason I kept playing was grinding for the higher levels. I hated light levels because stupid RNG would determine whether you hit the max level or not. It should be time played and dedication to the game. Great work bungie

2 RepliesWhere did they state for a fact that they are dropping you to lvl 20? All I read was no more Light levels meaning the light can go away while your current level is locked in. So again, nowhere have I read that Bungie will be dropping everyone to lvl 20. If they did please post a link.

Not sure but last I checked, we are all level 20 (except those just starting or have not reached the magic base level yet). What everyone is failing to realize is this, light level is the rank of our armor, not our characters progression in the game. From all i have seen, light level means nothing come TTK. So everyone sit back, relax, quit complaining and let's see if Bungie can make this game an epic classic.

7 RepliesIt means we won't have forever 29s or forever 31s. Your level won't be cock blocked due to poor RNG. Which I'm okay with.

Mmmm doubt it, seeing as there was plenty of lvl 48-49's in other videos. I'm fine with it if that is the case, I just doubt we are going through 30 levels with TTK.

You'll be able to grind back up to 40 in but a few days or so. That said, Bungie's supposedly going to have a one-time XP boost to get you straight to the minimum level required for TTKing's content. No need to go grinding XP out the gate.
