If the weapon is here
But the standard is here, it makes zero sense to make the dozens of other weapons fit the OP weapon

They could buff other weapons and make them better. There are other ways to balance other than nerfing, it just takes more work and I'm sure Bungie is capable of it.

You're not listening. If the weapon is here, And the standard is here, then that means that the weapon wasn't meant to be that high at all. It's an accident. You don't rework every weapon in the game to make it fit the mistake, you fix the mistake. It makes zero sense for them to buff up everything else when everything else already fits the standard. This is literally the simplest way ik of how to put it

I understand what you're saying, but what I'm saying is, buff other weapons to offer alternatives, but do not make them game breaking. Also almost all of the weapon classes have been affected by nerfs except for scout rifles and pulse rifles. If they were to reset all of the weapons to their previous Vanilla Destiny stats and then took a step back and looked at what they could buff and offer as alternatives to favorites, then the game would be balanced and a lot more people would be happy. By buff I don't mean, make them game breaking. The problem with nerfing right now is that Bungie nerfs entire weapon classes because of one culprit or two. And example would be the AR nerf, they got nerfed because of the Suros Regime. Then hand cannons got nerfed because the TLW and Thorn.
