  • Video games are meant to be hobbies and shouldn't be used to make money off of little kids.

  • Same could be said for movies, painting, and all other forms of media. I like telling jokes. Don't come in here saying I can't be a stand up comedian.

  • The same can't be said about movies and paintings. Movie productions can range from a few thousand dollars to millions. So money is spent to make money. Streamers make thousands of dollars for playing games. If I follow your logic the painter shouldn't get paid for his art. The person that interprets the art should?

How can you compare a movie director to a bum who plays video games all day?

  • I am talking about the actors standpoint. What you like to pretend you are a character and have people pay money to watch. What a bum. You either are using double standards for what entertainment media is ok to pursue, which invalidates any argument you have, or you don't realize that they have very similar jobs. (Which they do)

  • Actors train for months to feel rolls. Streamers set in a chair and act like their point of view is important. I'm deleting this gun because it's op! I'm rolling keep it up. I will have to give you money, for entertaining me.

  • I'm sorry, but though streamers don't have a hard job, they still work hard. And yes actors train, but streamers have to act as well. They can't go on a stream and be a dick, they have to act. It is a very similar job if you look at the basics.

  • How can you compare an actor who went to theatre school and learned how to be an actor to someone who plays video games all day?

  • Very easily. Aaron Paul never went to acting school, yet he was very successful in a career that doesn't help society. Same for gamers, except there are schools for gaming training. Not that many differences. Now sadly you won't answer anything without asking another question, so I'll just show myself out. Consider yourself beaten.
