I'm hoping this trend stops because it's ruining what gaming is about. A hobby.

It's a hobby for some, much like sports, sports are hobbies for some, others get paid to do them, at extreme pay rates at that, yet we all pay to watch them

Just invite somebody to your house and watch them play. Hey they'd probably pay you for it aswell.
