Its not about being a job, its about making a living. If people like you got their way, we wouldn't have small businesses run by normal people. What these people do is a lot like starting your own business. I don't see why you have an issue with people making a living doing something they enjoy.

Not exactly, but they are making a living doing something other than a boring ass 9-5 job. What is your problem with this? Just because you decide to do some mundane, normal job, doesn't mean everyone else needs to as well.

Baseball is a professional sport. I buy baseball caps because I support the professional team. Playing video games is not a sport lol.

I agree 100% but I would dare to take a guess that "back in the day" when watching sports first started becoming a thing, the players would get donations (perhaps in the form of sponsors).

A skill is a skill. whats the difference between a stand-up comedian and a twitch streamer? not a damn thing. "you idiots that go out and spend money to watch someone stand on stage are ruining jokes for the rest of us!!!!"

A comedian has to come up with jokes and it takes time to be a comedian. Plus the comedian doesn't have to beg for money unlike the slob streamer.
