When Ginger finishes off the last of the sentries, and deplorable cover, he starts speaking into his comms.
"Alright, we're all clear down here. You have a 5 minute window until reinforcements start arriving, so let's make this place secure. Everyone except for Jack and Murph, rally around me. They're going after Minerva. Our mission is to defend this location until extraction."
The rally point is actually on the Installation's walls, with five plasma blast shields, three hard light turrets, and a few ammo crates. It's far more defendable than being outside the base, but there will be troops coming from dropships outside, and from inside the base.
The wall itself isn't indestructible, but it should be able to survive a few rockets.

[spoiler]my friend would yell grenades in Borderlands over and over as he threw 16 of them as a gunzerker. This reminds me of that.[/spoiler] *you see Jack is stuck on the ground*

[b]You see him engulfed in flames and the flames grow [/b] "I'm good you can throw those grenades now."

"OK" [b]throws them[/b]

[b]He grabs one and throws it at a ship.[/b]

*A sniper fires at Ginger, cover is starting to get a little wirey*

He balances a knife on one arm, and then repels the knife with a repulser blast. The knife hits, and he attracts it back "Whoo!"

*troops throw grappling hooks up the wall* [spoiler]this is turning into Helm's Deep. Now.[/spoiler]

He pulls out his trusty gravity shotgun, and begins blowing off bits of the wall where the grappling hooks are. Hopefully the rubble will hit them once they fall [spoiler]Noice reference. [/spoiler]

*the rubble hits the climbing troops* *jeeps with mounted MGs open fire*

* i bring out my pistol and start killing any soldiers that appear *

A sniper round hits you in the shoulder.

* i stagger back and shoot more and get into covor to bandage my wound *

[b]Ash and Jacklyn fire at the hostile forces[/b]

A sniper round hits Ash in the stomach, and more fire buzzes around their heads. The gunship returns from its strafing run, and lays down even more fire

[b]Ash's armor holds against the oncoming fire[/b]

Ginger crouches down beside them "How're you two doing?"

Jacklyn:"Well Ash is taking most of the fire and we're destroying them so we're alright"

More dropships come in "That's good. Just tell me if you need assistance. I'll tell you if I need some too. Damn sniper squad is focusing on me."

[b]Jacklyn takes out her plasma blades and leaps onto the side of a gun ship and cuts into it, then throws the pilot out and jumps out[/b]

The gunship whirls down and explodes, taking out even more soldiers.
