No it seems weird that a man won't shake a woman's hand if they lose. Why should it be a no-no in their eyes ?.
People can be who they want to be until their behaviour impacts on others in a way that is harmful. And I think good manners (shaking hands) is simply good manners.

No but it's disrespectful. It's harmful in that way as it fosters disrespect and has a knock on effect.

The solution is be respectable and avoid being in a position to be disrespected if it hurts that bad

Even people who try their hardest to avoid disrespect seem to get it on here. Some people just go out of their way to create trouble. I suppose that's how the world works.
