Yeah the kkk have ally clans too... See where that leads? Its like children up in a tree fort saying "_______ aren't allowed up here"
It says to everyone that that group thinks they are better. If i made a clan called dudes of destiny and said only guys are allowed, am i sexist and discriminate? Yes. But is it also my preference to play with other guys?
You cannot have any type of publicity and exclude anyone. The fact that it says "girls only clan" says it's a discriminatory clan. DoD anyone can join. Dames, only girls. So if anyone cares dames officially lose to impartial logic.
I do not care one way or another. I see facts state them and hope others see the right way.

Edited by Amnesia: 7/31/2015 4:04:45 AM
Yeah the kkk have ally clans too...
I'm laughing. You take this way too seriously. Since when were people suddenly offended by everything anyway? Do not say that you don't care. You clearly care if you are upset about an online gaming community. Welcome. In case you have not yet noticed, there are a ton of discriminatory people here. Not only that, but there have always been clans or organizations that are exclusive to certain groups. Why is it a problem now that women are trying to do the same thing that men in the gaming community have done for years? I'm speaking from experience. I have been gaming on Xbox Live since it launched. There have been multiple instances where I run into male-only or (insert group)-only clans and organizations.

Stopped reading after the don't pretend part. You and everyone online that i have not met do not exist to me. You are nothing but a rock with a smiley face painted on it to me. I truly and honestly do not give a flying -blam!- about anyone on this community. But thats the only way to ensure equal treatment. I argue to amuse myself. So please. Do your best to amuse me.
-
*fails to provide an argument* "I argue to amuse myself." Alright. Thanks for admitting defeat.
-
Little side note, you didn't attack my argument. You tried the fact that i don't care. Cannot care really, about any of the community.
-
Fine a real argument. Your original post is all that matters. Dads does not discriminate even though you believe it does. Fact. Dads clan are not discriminating. Dames are a girls only clan. Done. Thats all that matters. Your original argument stands on something that is not true thus you are proven wrong.

I was misinformed by someone online on that point. I already clarified that with someone else. But there have been other clans that have done the same thing that the Dames are doing, which I suppose is what I am confused with. The Dames are inclusive in a sense, but they are also exclusive. They use the same structure that clans such as XGeN or groups like PMS have done in the past, i.e. having separate male and female rosters. They still play together, add each other, etc., only they are on different rosters. Now, there are points you could make such as the fact that Dames host or are part of events like this (Bungie bounty) where they may or may not have males representing their clan involved.
-
I play with people who aren't in my clan. Kinda hard not to. Just because they play with others who may or may not be male, doesn't have any affect (effect?) on their clans discriminatory conduct.
-
We do have a few males from what I have heard, though. If the Dames' current structure is really an issue, I'm sure they'll have a change of heart. Still, people pick on them way too much. How about Gamerchix? PMS? Frag Dolls? Of course, all are other examples of female groups. Plus Gamerchix and PMS have males too, but again, same structure as Dames last time I hung around those communities. PMS guys are in H2O, and I'm not sure about Gamerchix.
-
From what i have seen around the forums no male with his pack intact would venture into dames. Nest of vipers right there.
-
The males who supposedly joined the Dames were said to have identified as otherwise, or something along those lines. And hey, all of the Dames I have met and played with are the exact opposite of anything mean.
-
Just what i have seen posted around. They go down pretty quick. Be sure to look
-
i was clarifying a point. You cannot be so dysfunctional to notice that. Sounds like delusional thinking.
-
Clarifying a point, but then stating that you were arguing to amuse yourself, in spite of disregarding and not providing an argument for my response. I think you are the delusional one, my friend.
-
We're all delusional in some way. No argument there. Its how we make it through each day The point that i wanted to point out; i don't care, therefore i remain impartial.
-
I saw your point. Thanks for the input. Too many people care far too much these days, hence why many people are offended by virtually everything.
-
I was offended today. Guy without a helmet doing no hands on a motorcycle. That kind of arrogant stupidity pisses me off.
