I disagree. They could play with me and my male and female friends none of us are sexist. So if you look for people who aren't you will find some.

I'm sure your group are great, but that's not how the game works. It's very difficult to find a group of players if you don't know people in real life. You hop onto LFG and a woman joins then a lot of people would comment on her gender. A women's only clan is an unfortunate necessity when there's no easy way of filtering through the assholes.

I still disagree. They need to put in the extra effort to find those good people because those people are the ones you can truly have fun with. Also. When I'm using lfg I always get my fiancé to post because people always respond quicker to a female gamer tag so technically we use it to our advantage. If there is ever sexism or something that you don't like you can press boot, block, or mute. If it's super bad it is a video game in the end. You can shut it off. I hope it doesn't need to come to that for anyone though.

Fair enough, but I imagine they've made quite a lot of friends in that clan given that they've all had similar experiences with the game. There are people that have never run a raid because of the lack of matchmaking. The extra effort to find a group is not easy. That clan will not be needed one day, but at the moment I think it's good to have a group that they know they can avoid harassment in.

Avoiding harassment is good but they are closing off a large part of good people. Not all males are pervy sexist jerks. A fair few are but there are good ones too.

I agree, you seem nice and there are quite a few nice people I've met on this game, but the clan initially being exclusionary is necessary and then guys should be able to be vouched for. It's a sucky situation, but one that there really isn't any alternative until society moves on and a sexist in a game is a very rare thing.

I just wish they wouldn't try to be exclusive to females. Because the decent males are missing out as well as the females who need to be exclusive are missing out on a chance to game with decent males. And sexism isn't ever going to change if they keep their female exclusivity.

I expect they do play with guys. I imagine they regularly have fireteams with male friends in them. I honestly don't know the way they operate, but yeah it does suck. Just need decent people to become the large majority and they won't need to exclude themselves.
