But the burden of improving the community doesn't rest on the marginalized group. Female gamers aren't the problem. Men are. If you truly want to improve the community, first, [b]listen[/b] to what the female gamers are saying. Don't take it as an insult or a personal attack. Learn from their experiences. Try to empathize. Reflect on your own behavior and whether or not you have, inadvertently or not, contributed to making an unwelcoming environment. Commit to improving your own behavior and confront negative behavior when appropriate.

  • The burden of the betterment of the community falls on us all. You, me, and the Dames. I do my part. The dames are propogating ignorance and unacceptance. Which is part of the problem. I have no qualms with the way i treat people, but i find that just about any opinion can be "justified", so take that for what you will. This is my opinion.
